Neisti frá Saurbæ
Chestnut Pinto, born in Iceland 1997

Neisti was brought to the United States in 2003. He is a wonderful 5-gaited gelding and he’s all mine now! I love this little guy. I bought him for trail riding, but he is teaching me to show also.

The Icelandic horse is so much fun and Steinar & Stina always match you with the perfect horse.

Þengill frá Austvaðsholti 1

Chestnut with star gelding, born in Iceland,1998

Þengill was foaled in 1998 in Iceland and came to the United States in October 2005.  He is a well balanced five gaited gelding that won first place in his first tölt competition here.  I am looking forward to doing more with him as I learn to be a better more confident rider.

He is a younger half brother to Jökull frá Austvaðsholti 1 who is also at our facility.

Kjarkur fra Skammbeinsstodum

Chestnut Pinto gelding, born in Iceland, 1996

Kjarkur (aka Crackers the Wonder Horse), born in 1996, is a 4-gaited gelding. He is level-headed and has a great work ethic. He'll keep doing as long as he's being asked to do. He has a powerful tölt, a beautiful, high-action trot, and a smooth canter. He's been a great competition horse, a fun game-day horse, and a wonderful boy on the trail. Doesn't get any better!

s Lokkur Frá Hábæ
Palomino Pinto gelding, born in Iceland, 2000

Lokkur was born in 2000 with only six months of training when we got him in 2005.   He arrived in the US in October 2005 but I didn't get to ride him until March 2006.   This was because both Lokkur and I had limited training.

Lokkur is a five gaited horse.   All of his gaits are smooth (like riding in a Lexus).  He is absolutely adorable and we call him Mr. Personality.

Thanks to Steinar and Stina for giving us the opportunity to include him as part of our family.   He has brought a lot of joy to us.

Jokull is a four gaited gelding.  He is smart and strong with a gentle disposition.  His gaits are powerful and clean.  He is at home on the trail, in the ring, or in a show. He is responsive with a lot of get up and go.  He gets along well with other horses and rides beautifully alone or in a group.

s Kvintett fra Torfunesi
Black stallion, born in Iceland, 2000.

Kvintett is a gentle but extremely powerful four gaited horse with an incredible walk, lots of lift in the tölt and a huge trot that sails.  He has a friendly, curious disposition, not in the least nervous or timid.  He is happy on the trail leading or following the group, or pleased to go out alone; attentive and co-operative in the ring; and a flashy competitor.  If you ask more, he always gives it willingly.  He was assessed in Iceland with a score of 8.09 for conformation.  His sire, Grunur fra Oddholi, won the tölt at Landsmót 2006.
